The Art of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is not an elective course in Christianity. It is a required course, and the exams are very, very tough. Even so, many of us struggle to forgive. We know God is a forgiving God and don't trust Him to hold the person accountable for their actions. Yet, if we live only according to justice, always seeking to get what is ours, we will put ourselves into prison. But if we live according to forgiveness, sharing with others what God has freely shared with us, then we will enjoy freedom and joy.
