“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."

Is Baptism Your Next Step?
Life is full of next steps, each one bringing us closer to the God who created us and loves us. If you’ve made the decision to follow Christ, one of the most valuable next steps you can take is baptism.
Baptism is a picture of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, and a believer’s new life in Christ. We are baptized as an act of obedience to Jesus Christ and as a public proclamation of our faith. Baptism does not wash away sin, nor does baptism save us. It is an outward sign or symbol of the inward work that Christ has completed in us as new believers in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Every baptism is a celebration of salvation.

What is Baptism All About?
Baptism is about following Jesus' example.
In Matthew 3, Jesus chose to get baptized before starting His ministry here on Earth. When we make that same choice, we’re living how Jesus lived. Later, in Matthew 28, Jesus told His followers to go and baptize others. As we get baptized and baptize others, Jesus’ message of love spreads around the world.
Baptism is a symbol of what Jesus did for us.
When we go down into the water, we’re reminded of Jesus’ death on the cross and how His sacrifice covered our sins. When we come out of the water, we’re reminded that three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death and securing eternal life for us. Baptism is a symbol—not just for us, but for our friends and family as well—that the old is gone and the new has come.
Baptism is about going public with you faith.
When you make a life-changing decision, you want to tell everyone about it! Baptism is an opportunity for you to celebrate with your friends and family and tell others about the hope you’ve found in Jesus.
A member of our staff will reach out to you with available dates and answer any questions you may have.
Before your baptism, we will schedule a time for you to record a short video to share your faith story and why you want to get baptized.
We will all celebrate together as you take this next step in your faith. Don't forget to invite your family & friends to celebrate this special moment with you!
The Purpose & Meaning of Baptism
Baptism in the Bible expresses an identification with Christ’s death and resurrection—the old self was crucified with Christ and has been risen with Jesus in “newness of life”. It proves to the world exactly WHO you are — a child of the King!
