This is the new reality of the people of Israel. They were saved out of the slavery of Egypt, but God didn’t leave them alone. He started a process to show Himself to His people so they could know Him. That He was trustworthy. That He cared about them. That He would be with them and never leave them. He is teaching them how to be a new nation.
