Baptism

Jesus left His followers two ordinances -- Ceremonial practices that are unique to our faith. Jesus never asked His disciples to remember His birth, but He did instruct them to remember His death and resurrection. Baptism in the Bible expresses an identification with Christ’s death and resurrection—the old self was crucified with Christ and has been risen with Jesus in “newness of life”. It proves to the world exactly WHO you are — a child of the King!
